This unlacquered brass octagon centre door knob is designed for installation on the external face of a front door, providing a fixed grip to help pull the door closed. It does not operate a latch mechanism, making it suitable for doors fitted with a rim lock, mortice lock or traditional night latch.

The distinctive octagonal shape adds definition to entrance doors, particularly on painted timber or solid wood front doors. Manufactured from solid brass, the unlacquered finish will gradually develop a natural patina through handling and exposure to the elements. Over time, the brass will deepen in tone, giving the front door hardware a more settled appearance suited to period and heritage properties across the UK.

It works well alongside brass door knockers, cylinder pulls and escutcheon plates in matching finishes.

Free UK Mainland* weekday delivery. Orders under 2kg ship via Royal Mail; over 2kg via DPD. Orders placed after 1pm, or Friday 12pm–Sunday, dispatch the next working day.

Returns

Fill in the online returns form ensuring your order number is also included in or on the parcel, alternatively please include a completed returns slip with the items you are returning .

Important: please ensure products are carefully packaged in their original packaging and re-boxed to prevent any damage in transit. We can only issue refunds for items that are returned in undamaged condition and suitable for resale.
