These aged brass letter plates have a brushed finish with a hard-wearing lacquer coating, designed for external use. The beautiful mellow aged brass tone is the ideal choice for period properties. To maintain the aged brushed brass finish, regularly remove dirt and finger marks with a soft cloth. Moving parts will also benefit from a periodic light oiling of springs. Do not use metal cleaners or sprays as these will damage the lacquer.
